Clint and Brad came from East Texas to attend the Rocking W Spurs spur making school this July. Mother nature was kind since the temperature had been running in the 100’s plus the week before and this week it never got out of the 80’s with cooling rain almost every day. They were great students as we went through the process of spur making from design to function and ended with engraving the hand cut over lays on the finished product. The spur schools run for three days with all tools and materials provided. When the class is over each student has a pair of spurs they have completed under my supervision. The students get to work with designs and patterns they create as they take their spurs from an idea to a working finished product.
